Chiasmus in the Book of Mormon
Our editor-in-chief, Dr. John Welch, is featured in a recent issue of Deseret News. This article highlights Dr. Welch's discovery of chiasmus in the Book of Mormon when he was a young missionary in Germany. In 1969, as a student at Brigham Young University, Dr. Welch published his discovery in volume 10, issue number 1 of BYU Studies. You can read that article here.

Our Special Issue on the Joseph Smith Chronology
Our current issue of BYU Studies is devoted entirely to presenting a unique chronology of the life of Joseph Smith. This chronology allows readers to track the life of the Prophet, week by week and year by year, as he functioned as prophet, revelator, husband, father, brother, friend, citizen, city builder, public speaker, and religious leader.
